Never saw the conclusion (there were copyright issues). I first saw Gaiman's work in 'Marvelman', a dark take on a UK character like Captain Marvel. How that gothic - and not kid friendly - comic paralleled with DC's Crisis reboot was quite intriguing. Often they're so multidimensional the title of monster seems a tad off - a hallmark of the post crisis DC comics and especially Vertigo, something Moore started with the conclusion of 'A Murder of Crows'. Gaiman's very good when coming up with really strange 'monsters'. Regardless what idiot, if they're that protective of their trophies, doesn't do the research first? Oh right, most of them. The animated was okay but I missed it taking place in the UK and it suffers the expected minor shortcomings stories get when transitioning to another media form. I liked it but it felt it was better for that age group. I consider it young adult, as in mid-teens when you've begun to find out how fucked up things are, how many adults are complete douchebags, how many are totally winging it. "Oh, there are much worse earlier versions" replied the other character (I think Fiddler's Green) and I think bits about how some of these are meant to scare kids into not being morons and getting themselves killed. I remember a bit in one of the Sandman arcs where something claimed to be the original Red Riding Hood was related and the character reacted that it was horrible. He and Alan Moore pretty much re-defined the gothic horror stuff for DC/Vertigo in the late 80s to 90s. Neil Gaiman has personally gotten more kidified - according to Mz.Etrigone anyways - but his stuff has rarely been "family friendly". She should see my Netflix anime playlist. It's animated, so of course it's for kids! Forget Coraline's Other neighbor puppet, who apparently suffers a horrible fate off-screen after helping her escape. Forget the insectile Other Mother, who's responsible for luring away children, taking their eyes, devouring them, and imprisoning their souls in the steel room.
Apparently, if it's animated, it's a kids movie? Nevermind the murdered ghost children in the steel room with the rusty, rotting bed. They aren't bad parents, but they've just moved to a new house, and are still struggling to establish financial roots.įor those who do know this movie, there's a scene where Spink and Forcible, retired burlesque actresses, perform a routine in the Other World, and start out spangled, and barely-clothed(one's wearing nothing but pasties), before unzipping their normal selves like rubber suits and performing a trapeze act.
CORALINE CARTOON PORN GAY MOVIE
For those who don't know, it's a stop-motion animated movie about a young girl who finds a reverse world where everything seems to be better, including her parents. Ok, so yesterday my family and I were watching Coraline. Use the filters to see or exclude posts from one category at a time, and "Show All" to return to the original feed.
